Payment Policy

Payment Policy At Amble On Inn Holiday Park, we strive to provide convenient and secure payment options for our guests.

The following payment policy applies to all bookings:

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • EFTPOS
  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Cash Payment

Surcharges

Please note that the following surcharges apply:

  • Online payments by Visa and Mastercard: 2.5% surcharge
  • Visa, Mastercard and PayWave transactions made at Check-In: 1.8% surcharge

No surcharges

There are no additional surcharges for:

  • EFTPOS payments (excluding PayWave)
  • Cash payments

Payment Terms

All bookings must be paid for in full at Check-In if not paid for prior.

Online Bookings

All online bookings will require credit card details to secure your reservation. Your card will only be charged to cover damage, excessive cleaning and/or cancellation/no-show fees.

Currency

All amounts are in New Zealand Dollars. By booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to our payment policy.

Cancellation Policy

At Amble On Inn Holiday Park, we understand the sometimes circumstances change, and you may need to cancel or amend your booking.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Notice Periods and Cancellation Fees For bookings of powered sites, tent/unpowered sites, basic cabins and self-contained studios and units:

  • Notice of 7 days or more: no cancellation fee
  • Notice of more than 48 hours and less than 7 days: 50% of 1 night’s tariff cancellation fee
  • Notice of less than 48 hours: 1 night’s tariff cancellation fee

For group bookings (3 or more sites / accommodations) or any bookings over public holidays, the Burt Munro Rally or the Bluff Oyster Festival:

  • Notice of 28 days or more: no cancellation fee
  • Notice of less than 28 days: 1 night’s tariff cancellation fee

Refunds

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method, minus any applicable cancellation fees.

Amendments

If you need to make changes to your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but cannot guarantee that changes can be made.

No-Shows

If you fail to arrive for your booking without notice, your booking will be cancelled and you will be charged the full tariff.

By making a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to our cancellation policy.

Child Policy

At Amble On Inn Holiday Park, we welcome families and children.

The following policy applies to all bookings:

Rates Powered and Tent/Unpowered Sites

  • Children under 2 years: Free
  • Children 2 to 17 years: $10 per child, per night Basic Cabins and Self-Contained Studios/Units
  • Children under 2 years: – Free, if using their own cot (or similar) or sleeping with a parent
  • Children 2 and older: Charged at the same rate as adults (per person) Supervison
  • Children must be supervised at all times while on our premises 

Things for Children to Do

We’re excited for your children to explore and enjoy our holiday park!

Some fun activities for kids include:

  • Visiting BamBam the Ram
  • Feeding the ducks at our picturesque pond
  • Playing and running around in our spacious grass area

We are proud to offer a safe and enjoyable environment for children. However, please remember to supervise your children at all times to ensure their safety.

Check-In & Check-Out Policy

At Amble On Inn Holiday Park, we want to ensure that your stay with us gets off to a great start.

Please find below our Check-In and Check-Out policy:

Check-In

  • Standard Check-In time is from 2pm on the day of arrival.
  • Earlier Check-In may be possible, but please contact us by phone or email to arrange.

Our Office hours for Check-In are:

  • 1 December to 31 March – 2pm to 8pm
  • Rest of the year – 2pm to 5:30pm

If you plan to arrive later than our Office hours, please contact us in advance to make arrangements.

Check-Out

  • Standard Check-Out time is 10am on the day of departure.
  • Please ensure that you have vacated your site or accommodation by this time to avoid any additional charges.
